X is a good team. If we can hit 8 threes and keep live ball turnovers under 11, we have a shot, IMO.
Jazz can probably take care of that. How many does the rest of the team need?
;)
2 or 3. Between Hunter, Kalscheur and Grill we should be good.

After watching that Steiner math video, I figure if you take the 50/50 chance of winning any game, and then add the 34.9% chance that ESPN gives us, that equals an 84.9% chance we win this game. I like our odds.

I fugure it's 50/50 and then Xavier only having a 10% chance to beat us, so that means we have a 60% chance to win. Steiner math too high.

My heart says we've got a shot at the Musketeers, my gut says we lose by 10-15 points. Nonetheless, if we make it competitive, I'll be happy.

As far as the rest of the season goes, I think we will fare better than anticipated-- but not shocking the world. I think we could beat Creighton. The way Iowa is playing, I doubt we get them. The rest of the non-con is ours.

The Big 12 season will be a grind. I think we fight TCU and Kansas State to avoid the cellar to be honest. Look for Oklahoma State to be surprisingly good!

So.....we will be facing ex-Hawk Nunge when we play Xavier, (will Conditt/Jones stay out of foul trouble?) and then possibly face ex-Cyclone Tyler Harris if we play Memphis. Don't think we have any Virginia Tech ties.

Team Rankings now has us going 18-13. 12-1 in non-con (loss to Iowa-not gonna happen) and 6-12 in conference. I am bathing in the kool-aid and think it is 13-0 and 9-9 for 22-9 overall.

I see TR also has us finishing 7th or 8th by probability. They show us 8th in projected standings but have a 26.0% probability to finish 7th and 24.1% to finish 8th. Just keep winning and we'll see those projections slide up the chart.
