Why doesn't 100.3 the BUS carry WBB?

Don't Iowa WBB games get carried on WHO? Why are ours on 1460 who's nightly signal doesn't make it to Pleasant Hill?

I live in Pella and it's rediculous I can't listen to a game unless I find some free streaming audio.

Considering the coverage of WBB around the nation, I'm just happy that 1430 and 1460 carry it at all. Now if I could get them to stop interfering with each other I'd be extra happy.

If they thought it was a money maker, they'd make it happen. They're not going to do it just because they carry the men or because WHO carries both Iowa men and women's games.

They need more women's games on tv like the Mens on channel 5 whats up with that?

Mediacom tries to do their part. At his Luncheons Bill has said lots goes into getting WBB on tv. Luckily the big 12 has a nice deal with FSN so we can get some on. It all comes down to money. OU WBB has a Sooner Sports Network that has televised almost all their conf. games.

Because most people would be ticked off if the preempted lost with a womens basketball game.
Hopefully once the DTV switch is complete, the women's BBall games might interrupt whatever the heck is playing on 5.2, so it wouldn't be an issue.

the games dont have to be on channel 5, i watch mediacom and they have replays after replays of games, so there has to be some time that they can buy, plus i never thought i would say this but the womens games are getting to be better than the mens by far. O well, not really a big deal.
