When I tore all the tendons in my ankle I thought I tore my ACL because thats where all the pain was initially when I went down. I only felt it in my knee, it took a bit for me to realize it was my ankle. What? I've never experienced this or heard this.
Indeed. You also don't want to go get hammered every night to the point where you don't think you need your crutches, because that makes it take forever to heal.Have you ever rolled an ankle? It's usually not as bad right away but begins to stiffen up when you sit around for a bit. Not surprising he would have a more noticeable limp after sitting on the bench for a bit. It's why guys with ankle injuries that are trying to play will sit on a bike or something to keep it loose.
As someone who's studied in the medical field in multiple different forms I have 0 clue what you are talking aboutOften times when you roll your ankle the pain is in the knee. Thats how all of mine have been, for some reason I always feel the pain in my knee when I roll an ankle
They should have wrapped it up right away to keep it from swelling up. That limp is a byproduct of the delayThis...it was way worse than when he left the court after rolling it.
If he feels it in his knee when he hurts his ankle I'm nervous to ask where he feels it when he hurts his knee. What? I've never experienced this or heard this.
What was Pemsl doing there? Delivering a pizza? He probably just dunked on Pemsl in heaven.
I was limp at the end of the game too....He had a VERY noticeable limp at the end of the game.
IMO The main reason the limp looked really bad at the end of the game was because he had a giant ice pack strapped to his knee. It’s very hard to walk without limping in that scenario. Hopefully he’s ready to roll Saturday. He had a VERY noticeable limp at the end of the game.
The third legIf he feels it in his knee when he hurts his ankle I'm nervous to ask where he feels it when he hurts his knee.
Are you a doctor? Initially the surge of pain is in my knee. Ive done it about 3 times on my right ankle and twice on my left ankle. Same thing each time, instinct was to grab my knee, which is exactly who Osun did last night. As someone who's studied in the medical field in multiple different forms I have 0 clue what you are talking about
Until last night, Osun looked like he was turning a corner and maybe accepting his role a bit more. He has been a different player in conference play, although he didn't look especially sharp last night even before the injury. I know Daniel Batcho is also a tall, freakishly lanky fellow, but he absolutely sent an Osun shot attempt into the next dimension at one point last night. It was such an awful, weak looking attempt on his part, I think Robert Jones may have blushed.Anymore, I almost feel like Shoon is backing up Big Rob rather than the other way around.
Shoon came from a system where he basically lurked around in the lane, looking to block shots, grab rebounds and get dunks. In TJ's system where we're constantly switching on defense, Shoon has to defend all over the court, making it more challenging to rack up the blocks, rebounds, and points. I think he's still adjusting to this and it may be causing him some frustration.
I think ice is general preventative sports medicine. Also anything above 6'10" requires a bit more maintenance on joints and back. A lot going on with large frames. What concerns me is the fact that there was an ice pack on his knee - not ankle.
Usually knee injuries take more time/are harder to come back from than ankles.
When I roll my ankle I feel it in my soul. Then I cry. Then I limp into the woods so I can die alone.Often times when you roll your ankle the pain is in the knee. Thats how all of mine have been, for some reason I always feel the pain in my knee when I roll an ankle
Well, you know, he was fatally wounded by the ISU student section in Hilton that one year. What was Pemsl doing there? Delivering a pizza?

Where does this come from? He's always engaged whether on the court or bench, on any of the post game interviews I've heard him on he seems to be enjoying his transfer to and time spent at ISU.
