At the ISU / Nebraska game in 2000 I snuck in a Camelback full of hot chocolate and peppermint schapps under my coat. Not only was it freezing cold during that game and the hot chocolate warmed me up but using the Camelback with the drinking hose is just awesome!

Granted, it wasn't until after the fact did I realize that you are not supposed to place hot liquids in the Camelback's, hence, the plastic container melted! :no:

I think we tailgated next to you that game?? Weren't you going to plant the flag on the 50 yard line if we won?? But that clearly didn't happen.

I still remember that nice older couple that cooked enough food for 50 people and let us eat all that we wanted.....oh man I ate so many cheeseburgers and brats.

And by helped I mean tried to pop the cap off on the tail hitch...?

I am pretty surprised by the things people are claiming they got in. It is insanely easy to get a few beers in. Just stuff the pockets and keep one in your hand drinking all the way to the gate. When you get up there all they are focused on is you throwing away the open one.

I managed 18 cans of beer but it was cold out so the winer coat did not seem out of place. No matter how much I snuck it never lasted past halftime.

I usually take in an extra beer or two but in college I would sneek in a 40oz or two. Much easier when it is cold out.

I used to run the colorguard for pre-game. At one time or another, we smuggled various and sundry attractive young females into the game, tucked in the back of the van, with the rifles and flags.

A few years back when Colorado was beating us like 34-0 at halftime a friend and I walked out with a full-size plastic trash can that I was vomiting in repeatedly as we exited the stadium.

I can easily carry a 20 oz bottle in my pants between my legs, while walking and it looks completely normal, so we've gotten a lot of liquor in that way, which is great for warmer games. I learned that trick using beer cans, and I can usually carry about two cans between my legs. For the UNLV game a couple of years ago, I tried to walk through casually drinking the beer in my hand, as to distract Per-Mar from the two beers between my legs, and the 4 in my cargo pockets. We called it the decoy beer. It only saved the one's between my legs....

In school we always smuggled some BV in... Haven't smuggled anything in for years untill late last year where we needed to bring in some beers just to get through the games...

Seriously guys it is so easy to smuggle in flasks. I haven't gone to a single game since the very 1st one my freshman year (I think it was Indiana State on a Thurs night) wihtout brinigng in a liter of booze (usually have someone else smuggle one of the flasks in). Just hide the flask either in the front or back of your pants, either way you will not be patted down.

Just be careful doing it in Austin... I went to a game down there with a flask in the front and back, so walking normal was a little tough.... they had like 3 different tiers of security as you come in, and they actually pat you down and look you over there.

In Ames I had a friend walk in with a beer standing straight up under his stocking cap on top of his head. He had to walk super slow and steady so it didnt fall, the security guards didnt even look twice.:smile:

I walked out of the stadium in Shreveport with a fading buzz and a bout with depression.

I got my brother out of the Indy Bowl that year. First I talked him into storming the field with me after the game. He was the first over the wall and was nabbed immediately. I decided to not go when I saw the swift action of the security. Later I wandered under the bleachers and asked where they took the drunken idiots. They released him to me which was ironic because I was much more intoxicated than he was.:wink::biggrin:

My fraternity used to sell pop at the games. We'd either wear a Camelbak under our clothes or bring in a bottle of "special" Coke that we kept with us in the pop trays. The best was running into the old men that were a little thirsty.

"Coke! Diet Coke! Sprite! $2.50!"
"Hey buddy! Got any Captain for that Coke?"
"Yup. Five bucks."
"Really?!"

We were usually happy if we made enough extra to get a couple cases of beer for that night.

My sophomore year we (the student section) tried to "steal" the new field goal posts. (The ones that are tear down proof). Once everyone figured out it wasn't going to happen we went across the street to the intramural field and tore those goal post. Then marched it to campus and threw it in the Lake.

i snuck a 12 pack of coors light into the kansas game this last season. just wrapped it in a hoodie and put it inside one of those red bags they give you at orientation before your freshmen year.

saw a guy getting his red bull taken right in front of me so i walked around him because he was keeping the per mar guy in that lane busy and i made it right it!
