Her big NIL deal is with Hy-Vee, right? Just curious because I don't think I've ever seen one Hy-Vee commercial with her in it. Maybe its more prevalent on the Easern side of the state, but you would think they would be putting her in every other commercial with the rumored amount she is getting.

Iowa will win this I think.

You can just kind of tell they're ready for the moment.

LSU’s players are more skilled than South Carolina’s. SC was just so tall, but couldn’t shoot.

I assume this has been talked about but Clark is a world class player. And a world class whiner to boot. The vast majority of players of her caliber don't whine. But WOW SHE CAN SURE SHOVEL IT! The only games I've watched her play are the last couple but If anything goes wrong on a play that she is involved in her hands go out at her side and she's looking at an official.

It’s nice of these refs to make known early that they aren’t up to task today.
Women’s basketball needs to up their quality of officiating in general. I’ve noticed the last few years it’s extremely inconsistent. If this championship game is supposed to be the the best of the best in women’s CBB..woof..

Joking about HyVee aside, I do think she is one of the incredibly rare college athletes where her unique value as a player easily brings the school more than the school's brand brings her. This refrain that "the athletes bring so much more value to the school than they get back" just isn't usually true when you compare their talent level to minor league athletes like a G league player or AAA baseball player. She's an exception where that common thought is actually true.

If there were no college sports, she'd likely be someone many knew eventually from the Olympics and probably still score some endorsements without piggy backing off a tax payer and alumni funded school brand. There are about 5-10 players a year total in college basketball whose fame isn't entirely dependent on those preexisting brands, who would be out already earning accolades/endorsements in the pros/olympics but instead are in college sports. Everybody else has the marketing value of an Iowa Energy player or far below that. JoBo was out squawking about his NIL value but without tax payers and alumni building up his team's brand, his NIL value is about the same as a guy flipping burgers at McDs.

I get around
I am proud to say that I have never watched her, not even one minute of a game she was in. I even missed the games she was in when they played us.

I'm so indifferent to her (and the hoks) I didn't even realize that the game is going on at this moment!
