Hi everyone. Thinking about driving by the weird shrine thing outside of Ames for the first time tonight. Anyone have an address? Will definitely be respectful just have always heard about it and am bored with a couple friends. Thanks

Been there twice at night and he was sitting in his van both times. Drove by slow until we saw him then sped up.

went in the day to scope it out and drove by really slow and he came out of the house.

creepy stuff, but don't trespass, just not good for anyone.

Thanks for the help. We found it but couldn't see much so we plan to go back during the day. The old dude wasn't around thankfully.
This is not at all how I was picturing it.

Did the light turn off when you came from the west side? That's one of the creepiest things about it. Gives me chills thinking about it.

It's official I'm not getting any sleep tonight now.

Found this post in another blog about this, nice guy, whatever.

the dude who built this "park" as he calls it, used to live in a van in the parking lot of the boone hy-vee. I used to serve him dinner when I worked at the hy-vee in high school. if you go there, you should go to the house, he's a nice guy, and will tell you all about his "park".
