Lol, a weekend beer thread is never complete without hearing from "the 21".

Hopefully my 18 Natty's are enough to give me a buzz on the golf course.

One of the best oatmeal stouts made, good choice.

I'm heading to Michigan this weekend to spend Easter w/ my GFs parents. We are hitting up Founders on Saturday, so I'm wayyy excited for that. Will definitely be stocking up.

You know you can get Founders in Iowa now right?

Since the stock market is closed, my weekend just started. No beer, but I did pick up 2 liters of belvedere vodka for the weekend to drink while watching the
Masters

Heading to the folks in Springfield, MO this weekend so plan on accessing several brews that we can't get here...if anyone ever makes it down that way, hit up Mother's Brewery, delicious beers and great atmosphere in the tasting room

dig the pales too eh? ever tried highland? they have some good ones, as well as a good spring ale.

Craft Brews :: Highland Brewing Company

i like sierra a lot, but that is also the only pale i can get without driving 35min round trip. take what you can get i guess.

Tried some Highland at the Brew Fest in Des Moines last year. That was several samples in so I don't remember if it really stood out. Summit out of St Paul MN is the best EPA and IPA I've had.

Red stripe imported from Jamaica or 7 eleven

You have to go try that sitting on a beach in Jamaica. It tastes totally different. Red Stripe is my favorite lager beer, but it is not nearly as good once it gets shipped to the US.

I still have a few Sam Adams alpine springs left. Will probably finish those off tonight.

Go for the Iowa beers! Madhouse Pale Ale and the Hopburst IPA get the job done well for me.

I have 5 Old Chubs in the fridge, just picked up a sixtel keg of Redhhook Longhammer on sale for $40 for the kegerator and a case of Harpoon Celtic Ale(Irish red Ale) on sale for $20. Gonna call the distributer to hold 2 more cases of the Harpoon and 1 more of the kegs. I'm set for a little while. Oh...Wait should this be in the Confessions thread?
