Lol no they’re not. KU is gonna win again. Why? Because they don’t lose at home
What is unarguable is that this team absolutely has the talent to contend. Got to continue to learn and grow. Huge finish tonight, despite some mistakes, which had been a struggle this year.
It's nice that KU still plays Tech and K State twice. They have their work cut out for them. It'd be nice to see K State keep playing well but losing to them at home was huge. We probably need to be rooting against them. They are looking really good right now.
I had us at either 3-2 or 4-1 in these first 5 games, with the KU game being a toss-up. I'm sure we'll drop another dumb one and win another one we shouldn't before the end of the season. Road wins are a beautiful thing.

I believe if that happens we would kick them out of the cab and that would put us back in the drivers seat
Then of course will got to Texas or OU and get yanked right back out of the cab.
Maybe maybe not every once in a while we play as well as anyone down there. Steal one down there and maybe get KSU down there and defend home court I'd be pretty happy.

That was our 5th best adjusted offensive performance of the year paired with our 6th best adjusted defensive performance. Really did a nice job for the most part of controlling the tempo. That stretch at the end of the 1st half was beautiful... Chris Beard had to be beside himself as he absolutely does NOT want to get into an uptempo game with a team like ISU.
Tech missed an abnormal amount of free throws early, sure. But think about how crazy this is.... Iowa State beat a top 10 team on the road while shooting 22% from three (2nd worst three point % all season).
Did I see that k state went to Norman and blew them out?
Yup, probably should have won by 20. That was the margin for a large stretch of the game.
Big Monday is a quick turn around. Not much time to work on ISU and they have a long road trip to WVU the Sat before. If there is anytime to do this it lines up well for ISU.
I think that was one of Tech's least efficient offensive games this year.
We were very sound in our gaps and the guards did a great job at digging. Still think that was far from Tech's A-game but what a great win for Prohm and the team.
KU has lost 3 conference home games the past two seasons. However, they always find a way to win with big road wins, similar to what ISU had last night.
