As a side note, that WVU court storming after beating KU looked rather unprofessional LOL
I really wonder if the instant gratification that everyone has now effects how we react to losses.
The 00-01 team started out 1-2 in conference play...would people have been freaking out about the conference title being gone or did it even matter? I don't recall thinking much of it.
In the spirit of fun, I don't think so. ISU had just lost to KState and was 2-2 with a loss to Baylor. Baylor was 1-1 with a win over ISU and a loss to TCU. If at that point ISU wins out and Baylor wins out except for the ISU rematch, they both would have 2 losses. That would be a share of the regular season title. Bonus -- for the Big 12 championship a likely tiebreaker for ISU having beaten Kansas.
Unless I'm wrong somewhere in there. Or you meant non-shared championship.
