Wow. Glad nobody was sitting there. I've always wanted to hit up a game at Assembly Hall. Both of my parents are IU grads & I grew up cheering for the Hoosiers.

Let me guess, Fran lost his temper and bounced a ball into the ceiling during practice...

Move our game to ESPN!!!!!!!! Better yet, simulcast it on both. This is as big as Duke-Carolina, right?
If our game had been in the same time slot as Iowa Indiana they definitely would. They moved Missouri Arkansas from ESPN2 to ESPN when I believe it was Syracuse Duke was postponed.

Interested to know the cause of the beam to fall.

Doubt it's a design error. The building has been erected for years. Could possibly be due to fatigue, or if it is support weight it's not supposed to. The fact that the rest of the structure seems intact tells me it's a secondary framing member.

Well the I35 bridge over the Mississippi in the Twin Cities collapsed in large part because some gusset plates were undersized - a design error some 50 years earlier.

This is getting interesting, I swear the last few days there has been a number of news stories regards to roof collapses from the snow, more now than ever before it seems like and now today inside Assembly Hall...
