Who cares...these threads aren't offensive in the least bit....these are legitimate fans concerned on how the team is being ran and have opinions on how it could run better....thats being a true fan...concerned about the good of one's team...i guess these moderators don't want to see the fans perspective.....if they would, they'd let these threads stay open....

Or maybe people should just, you know, keep posting in the already going threads instead of thinking their opinion somehow happens to be more important. Some of these threads are humongous repeats.

Two options:
1. Start your own site.
2. Go to a site where positive and negative are allowed.

Thats not being a true fan. How old are the kids creating most of these threads that need instant gratification and think we should win every game?

Id be happy to just win most of our games. Or not have our worst home loss in 7 years.

We need a place-we-can-go-to-blow-some-steam Forum. Like the politics cave, postings would be contained there, and not show up on the main page. Also, standards would be relaxed just a tiny bit so people can blow steam. (Still no personal attacks, vulgarity, language, etc...)

The way things are going now, the mods tend to fuel the flames a bit, IMO.

The problems aren't going away. We will likely be even worse next year, so anger will only increase, especially if McDermott stays. Better to contain it in one place, than to try to stamp it out, IMO.

People stating their opinion for the betterment of one's team....This is the first regime since ive began coming to iowa state games, it started with Johnny Orr, that i haven't expected to win night in and night out..

Yeah, we need a place where we can go like...throws stuff. Yeah man...we gotta have a place where we can yell, scream and swear...that'll make it all better!

Lame.

The thread merge stuff has always been going on here, it's about keeping the board from being full of clutter.

If you want to complain that it's been way over the top on chastising or ending threads that are even remotely critical of the team/coach/program - I'd agree. The trigger finger has been very happy and ya can't say anything bad without catching hell.

But some of you just should grow up a bit - rants really don't do much.

I would agree on some of the ones that are really just rants. Its the ones that are well thought out, valid posts whose only offense is not drinking enough cyclone koolaid that i have a problem with them getting moved.

Here's the deal guys. We move threads for a reason...that is so that when people want to read about men's basketball, they know where to go. Get it?

I am cool with constructive feedback but after today, I've decided that we are really going to beef up on people ripping the mods. If you are disrespectful to our moderators, you're gone.

We cool?

Be passionate. Have an opinion. Be respectful and have fun. That's it.
