Not only the area businesses that lost out on a home game payout... hotels, stores, restaurants.... I'm starting to question the advantages of this relocation of OUR home game in a city with the same first name as our opponent. Thinking right now we should be in front of 55,000 our OUR FANS in Jack Trice... with a true HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE.

This is such a pivotal game and will question this trip.

Go State.

Current score..... down 7 0-7

Easy... don't kill me over it... I just logged in and saw no threads of such on the first screen, and giving the first quarter and the crowd noise in favor for K-State it was making me question even more..... gzzzzz

I did look first and saw no threads on the opening page... kill me

Are you Daffy Duck? "Shoot me now!" BANG! "I despise you." My apologies to those you don't see Bugs Bunny cartoons.

who cares about the business. They are not the ones giving their money to the program. Only leeching off the fans $$$. Ames loves ISU's kids/fans money but hates the students there. Perfect scenario in my opinion.

OK, ISU makes appr. $1M per home game. They are getting something like $1.8 for these two, so it's a gain of $800k. I think that the city of Ames really needs to act like they appreciate ISU a little more. They've seemingly battled with the university for years.

Wow we ***** about not getting publicity/attention/respect, and now we are complaining about playing in a PROFESSIONAL stadium that is a very manageable commute for ISU fans. I never knew playing in a professional stadium with TV coverage was something to ***** about.

No way there is 60k. Maybe 40k.

lol, no kidding the stadium holds just under 80k. unless a bunch of people bought tickets and decided not to show. I'd say at best there are 35,000 there. Now way that place is over half full. (notice I say half full, I"m that type of guy,)

If some called this our bowl game... it probably was... had this game been played in Jack Trice.... I strongly believe we are 4-1 and two games away from a real bowl game.... still not a fan of this series again being played in a city that shares the first name of the team we agreed to play.

Be sure to come back next year and post about how much it sucks to be playing in KC in front of a 50-50 crowd instead of playing in Manhattan. I'm so sick and tired of the b!tch!ng about playing this game in KC.

You need to learn, Cyclone15 - there seem to be more and more posters here who, instead of just disagreeing with your point and listing the reasons why, will bravely issue personal attacks from the safety of their keyboard...
