"The Crazies" Premier-filmed in Lenox, Ia.

A premier showing of "the Crazies" will be shown on February 23. Although final details are sketchy, it looks like they will have two movie theatres at Jordan Creek reserved for this event. Available seating will be limited to 400 people. Probably for cast, crew, production people and dignitaries. As I stated earlier on another thread about this movie, I will let everybody know as soon as pertinent info is made available. Movie trailers are available on the internet. And no, all the tax credits used on this movie were legit!

Saw the preview...not to get this thing to the cave but it sucks that the whole tax credit thing got scandalized.

So would this be classified as a horror movie, or just a thriller? I am not in to all the blood and guts of horror movies, and from the previews I have seen, can't really get a good feel for what genre this would fit in.

Horror lean. Its no hostel Im sure. But it is towards the horror side of things.

Not scary. Over the top gross. Both are basically fake snuff films.
