What are some recipes that are sure to please. I'm going to a party, so I'm not hosting. Looking for a guaranteed crowd-pleaser to take. Don't care if it's an appetizer, sweet, etc.

One of the classics is the old "hamburger, velveeta, rotel" cheese dip. Brown the meat, put the other two ingredients in a crock pot and that's all there is to it (give it a mix occasionally to get the "skin" mixed back in) :spinny:

Pour over some tortillas...enjoy (ESPECIALLY the chips that get all soggy and stuck together).

One of the first few episodes of this season's "Worst Cooks in America" has a killer wings recipe that looked very simple to do. Probably find it on the web.

I like to make an appetizer that's pretty easy.

Triscuits (I like the rosemary - herb)
cover with cream cheese
add a smoked oyster on top
dash of tabasco sauce

You'll want to make when you get to the party as the cream cheese tends to dry out after a little while.

Bacon wrapped little smokies with brown sugar... Cut bacon in 1/3, wrap around smokie, put brown sugar over, and bake. Damn good, easy to do...

We did these over X-mas at my folks place. I helped with the wrapping, and got back from our shop a bit later and they were already gone.

A lot of good gameday recipes in here, from the bacon wrapped smokies to buffalo chicken dip.

I'll probably have a crock pot full of frozen meatballs and barbecue sauce. Debating on making some taco lasagna as well

I honestly thought this was going to be a thread about deer and elk recipes.
That's why I said The big... I had heard somewhere that Super Bowl was a reserved term, maybe that was just for radio/tv personalities. Went the safe route to protect our beloved CF.

I'm not making anything special for the Big Monday matchup against Kansas.

Is there some other big game I'm supposed to give a **** about?
