I could've put this in general college sports but it affects ISU. looks like all the big 12 teams this weekend are turning in their helmet communication devices to add encryption. I saw on tech boards there was a rumor going around that Baylor was listening to their play calling frequency.

Two things:

1. When this got posted on Twitter a bunch of EMAW buffoons immediately latched on to it and said that is obviously why ISU is undefeated. SAWFT!

2. Does this remind anyone else of the story behind the Telephone Trophy for the ISU/Mizzou series?

First thing I thought of was oh here we go, another KSU conspiracy.

Those idiots still say ISU cheated, and even say TJ admitted it. How moronic are they. Then saying other "assistant" coaches around the country have come out to say it about ISU!!!! Not realizing the only one that ever did was their own Ass istant that leaked it to the media. And say it was TJ that made it public when their coaches didnt want to say anything.

How stupid are those guys, like seriously. The entire thing is completely ridiculous.

I have come to hate KSU fans more and more.

Kinda on-brand for the Big12 to go get comm systems off Temu
It wasnt just the Big 12 though, it was weird that the article states just the B12 recalled them. But other schools in other conferences have had issues etc. adn sounded like it was the NCAA that addressed it.

So is it just the B12 that is fixing it? And others are not doing anything yet.

I read it that teams for all P4 sent their helmets in to be “fixed”.

Were we not healthier then?

(I honestly don't know)
Good question. I think anyone who has played tackle football at almost any level will tell you that as you progress through the season, everyone is dinged up to some extent. Now the difference between pain and injury is oft debated. We have had enough depth on the defensive line that we have been able to cover guys that were dinged up, but don't know that we have lost many extended time to injury, and the bye week obviously helped. Linebacker is certainly an interesting story as we had Brezina in a breakout role, and while he has been out, I believe he played some in the last game. We have also seen the elevation of young guys (ex. Barnes) we didn't necessarily expect to see. If someone has done a snap analysis from the Iowa game that could provide more insight.

I went to the ticket website, and it looks like only verified resale is available. Is a sell-out confirmed?

Dear Professor Heacock,

I understand your process in playing a base defense to start each game. You will see what the offense is trying to attack then make changes to take it away.

But can we not allow a TD on the opening possession this time? I’d be happy if Tech was held to a FG

Thanks for listening

It’s humorous that you think it’s up to Coach Heacock.

He literally said the exact same thing his last press conference.

In other words, it’s not up to him.

With their dinged up starter and back up I wouldn't mind just a little more aggressive approach to not let them get settled in.

That said the injuries on the offense might carry more weight as the game goes along.

I have been wondering if someone couldn't find a way to listen in fairly easily if so inclined.
