My only concern is Rocco's accuracy. I wonder if it was injury/discomfort related the couple games he was off. Ball could be wet this Saturday as well. This seems like a game where WR's will be open all day. If Rocco misses on 2 or 3 would-be TD's again then this will be a close game.
He looked like LanRam in the 4th so that should open up read option gives and those seem routes

A century ago, in high school, our coaches were early adopters of wireless headsets to talk to the box. Other team intercepted the signal and knew every play call. I can't believe this was rolled out without inscription or at least frequency hopping. So easy to intercept any signal.

Technically legally still RC and always will be for reasons way above my pay grade.

Also hearing that there will likely be special guests on Saturday. Jets play tonight, 49ers are on a bye and Chiefs play Monday...

I mean they are largely with Baylor as the exception. On the season opponents have run 193 passing plays against 237 rushing attempts. Take out the Baylor game and it’s 149 passes to 217 runs, basically 60% run. Compare that to normal run/pass ratios and that’s equivalent to like top 15 most run heavy offenses in the country.

So I’d say teams are running a ton at us. It just hasn’t been a winning formula and I still think UCF is a bit of an outlier with the three long runs accounting for ~55% of their total rushing yards.

I expect we’ll still be vulnerable on the ground, but the woes are bit exaggerated IMO. Teams are trying that game plan and it hasn’t worked yet. Damn near worked for UCF with a lot of help from us shooting ourselves in the foot however
Even with their big running game and their big hitters in the running game that isn't close if Iowa State doesn't serve them up 2 pick sixes (I know, I know one technically doesn't count) to keep it tight.

I could've put this in general college sports but it affects ISU. looks like all the big 12 teams this weekend are turning in their helmet communication devices to add encryption. I saw on tech boards there was a rumor going around that Baylor was listening to their play calling frequency.

Two things:

1. When this got posted on Twitter a bunch of EMAW buffoons immediately latched on to it and said that is obviously why ISU is undefeated. SAWFT!

2. Does this remind anyone else of the story behind the Telephone Trophy for the ISU/Mizzou series?

smh. How was this not thought of when they rolled it out? NFL has been doing it for years already with encryption.

Are we sure Mahomes would step foot into Jack Trice after he lost by 7 TDs to a team with a linebacker at QB?

Side note, thought there was no way in hell he’d turn out to be a good NFL QB after that one. Just missed there.

On the bright side, at least those KSU buffoons are bright enough to inherently recognize that ISU is technologically superior.

Alas, they take a left turn from reality at that point.

F*** Tang. And I don’t mean the astronaut juice.

K-State has been hot lately. Really makes you wonder if they're listening to their opponents.
