I agree with a lot of these teams mentioned, but I'm also betting that Iowa State is being mentioned in the same light on other message boards. We're a 5/6 with 2/3 potential.

Upsetting three higher ranked teams in a row, winning games when our shots aren't falling, having solid guards that can all handle the ball well, having guards with a lot of length and having arguably the most talented team in our conference that wasn't playing together but figured it out late.

Agreed, all of those things would not look appealing if I was a fan of another team right now.

A team that has two bigs capable of scoring and passing it out will likely give us issues defensively, but they will also struggle against our four guard lineup.

Give me a pumped-up Hali and Jake and let's go do some damage.

Yeah, our key if we run up against someone with two talented bigs is to make our style of play force the other team to adapt to us. Coach Prohm is definitely (and almost fanatically) committed to that concept. We made KU change to match us yesterday, so we certainly can do that.

Oregon. My answer is Oregon. Dana Altman is the Bill Snyder of men’s college basketball.

I don't want to see anyone who crashes the boards like crazy on offense. I haven't paid too much attention to other teams this year, but North Carolina is a team I'd hate to see for that reason.

I'd prefer that ISU not fall into a 16 team region with the Golden State Warriors. I'm super excited about the turnaround they pulled off, but don't think they have the horses to win that one...

All the people clamoring for a rematch with Sparty are nuts. Might be the worst matchup of the entire tournament field, IMO. They would destroy us on the boards and have Winston who can get to the rim at will.

Also, no thanks to FSU, Duke, Carolina, and Wofford.

Bring 'em all on.

Seriously there is exactly one way to find out how ISU would do vs. these teams.

Many would be a tough match up, but ISU is also a tough matchup if the ball movement and defense are at a high level.

He is also the reason we got Fred Hoiberg. We were stuck with McDermott, with no hope of getting rid of him, then Altman leaves for Oregon, Creighton hires McDermott off of our hands, and the rest is history. I cannot dislike Oregon as a result.
