Usually just bring thin cut ribeyes and thats it. Looking to step it up this year and bring some more food. What are dishes you can bring and heat up on the grill? I like to do potatoes in tinfoil but the grill doesnt get hot enough (small gas grill). Id like to use charcoal but no matter what it seems you cant keep the smoke off the people next to you.

What are you bringing?

Ummmm with a 1 pm tailgate opening and a 7 pm kick off we will probably do 2 things. We have brat patties for arrival with just some chips and dip options along with fruit.

Then about 6 pm I'm guessing we will have the marinated pork cooked up with grilled veggies and perhaps potatoes.

We have usually 25 at our tailgate, so we usually bring a bunch of different stuff for meat. And then everyone brings at least 1 side or drink for everyone else.

If you want easy stick with marinated stuff, burgers, brats. No need to be fancy.

Soups, chili, and casseroles all heat up great on the grill... You can always do cheesy potatoes at home and warm them up in a tin foil pan or green bean casserole, heck about anything. Foil pans work with anything.

Aside from the usual we have had good luck with frozen chicken patty sandwiches from Costco.

Put in a chaffing dish, cover with tin foil and let them steam away. Not sure if it is the quality of the chicken or the quantity of beer that makes these so tasty.

I also have a camp oven that im going to start bringing. It is one of those that is a propane oven so you can bake in it. Probably doing taters and jalapano poppers in there.

Well besides adult beverages, we will attempt to eat the following:

Friday - Hickory Park
Saturday AM - Casey's Breakfast Pizza
Saturday Noonish - Brat and Brat Burgers
Saturday 5ish - Hamburgers
Sunday Morn - Some type of Breakfast

It has always been a tradition to order Casey's breakfast pizza the day of the game, no matter what time it is.

We will be grilling a large amount of breakfast chops for sandwiches.

Other than that it's up to whatever everyone else brings.

With the heat I hope no one is dumb enough to bring mayo based salads.

Since it's going to be hot as **** on Saturday I think we are going to go fairly light as far as food goes. I think we have some brats to grill for lunch, and then maybe something else for 5/6 PM. Or, we might not cook right away and have brats at 4:30 and that will be it.
