Story Co.
Taco Time in Ames has to be way down on my list of Mexican food there (in no real order)
El Azteca
Mr. Burrito
Pancheros
Fighting Burrito
Taco John's
Taco Bell
Es Tas

I'd get any of those before Taco Time
"Due to the aging and conditions of the building." Don't forget the significant lack of customers! I've lived in the Ames area for over 15 years now and could probably count on one hand the number of times I've seen 5+ cars at that place.

I use to work at the Almost Always Open across the street as an undergrad and would grab a crispito from there every so often. It hit the spot.

This was among my go to places for eating out in Ames. I enjoyed it although in last few years the price increases have limited my visits. Have to go a few times in next few weeks. Their mexi-fries are incredible.

Guessing developers want that area that TT and KFC buildings sit on.

I'm not sure if this project ended up getting approved, but this would be right next to the TT building between Clark and Kellogg. I know there has been this whole argument between business owners on Lincoln Way and the city in regards to completely redeveloping the Lincoln Way corridor. News has been pretty quiet on it lately.
