We no longer have dish and are just streaming. I am looking for some suggestions on good shows to stream. We have most of the standard apps (Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, CBS, HBO). I just finished Silicon Valley and Man in the High Castle. I have seen all of the MCU series on Netflix plus Stranger Things, 11.22.63 and the OA (plus some others).

What are some that you like and why?

Too many to list without knowing what all you've seen. A couple that I think are must watches would be Veep and House of Cards. Veep is probably one of the funniest shows I've ever watched.

Shameless is a favorite of me and my wife.
Always Sunny in Philadelphia, my wife doesn't care for it but I love it.
Parks and Rec, just muscle through the 1st season because it's easily the worst.
An Idiot Abroad, hilarious travel show.
The Fall, suspenseful crime/cop drama. Great show.
Westworld
Archer, another one my wife hates but I love

Some older HBO shows like The Sopranos or The Wire if you haven't seen them, definitely recommend both.

Agree on Parks & Rec. Like the Office but cheerful instead of depressing.

Here's an oddball, but only 2 seasons: Galavant. It's a goofy tongue-in-cheek musical / fairy tale. I know that sounds awful, but it's cheeky and I found it amusing and occasionally really clever. If you like the Muppets you might enjoy it and super believe in Tad Cooper.

From the shows you listed I think you might enjoy the netflix original Travelers, it stars Eric McCormack from Will and Grace.

I forgot about An Idiot Abroad, really funny show, besides that and Sunny I also liked Arrested Development. I have The Fall in my queue but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Parks and Rec and Veep are the only ones I have tried. See my post about Veep above. I thought the first few shows of Parks and Rec were ok, but not as good as The Office.

I have been thinking about House of Cards too. I usually watch the first episode with my wife and if she likes it, we continue watching together. Otherwise, I watch on my own because I travel a lot.

Parks and Rec is infinitely better starting in Season 2 when Rob Lowe and Adam Scott join the show. It's almost like a different show entirely. I did the same thing with Veep actually, started 1 episode like a year ago and didn't even finish it. Once I started it again and got into it I binged the entire series in like a week.

Travelers was good. House of cards is another one for the recommend list, and westworld is definitely a must-watch.

I recently found and marathoned The Magicians not that long ago. Ended up being surprisingly good.

Santa Clarita diet is a nice short and funny option, with two solid stars (Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant) heading it up.

Others i've liked not mentioned by others in this thread:

Dark Matter
Wynonna Earp
And if you've done the marvel series, maybe start running through the DC show universe. (Arrow, then add flash\supergirl\legends of tomorrow as they came out, as they all loosely tie together)
The 100
And iZombie is another interesting take on the 'zombie' thing. Zombies meets CSI.
