Very concerned.
We don't play defense. I'm afraid Fred might have completely lost this team. Man oh man, have things gone south. It only takes a game to turn it around though...at least temporarily.

There isn't a whole lot Fred can do at this point. Running them into the ground definitely isn't going to help. Hopefully, our seniors can keep the team together. They have to understand that even though their coach lets them play loose, that doesn't mean they can stop playing defense. Everything starts with defensive intensity. It is something we haven't seen since the nonconference.
I've been critical of DG in the past and JVB tonight. But yeah if they want to leave any kind of lasting impression on this program, they need to make sure they keep the younger players heads up.

I genuinely hope this is the reason. For some reason, I think there may be something more to this, but I honestly hope not. Probably just the Cyclone fan in me.
This team is exactly who I thought they were going into the season.
They aren't very good, and there isn't a lot to judge the staff on yet. I had planned to reserve judgment until after next year. Gonna have to stick with that.
I thought we'd be an embarrassment to the game of basketball, and we are. I had just let my expectations run away at mid season.

Nice to see we don't give a coach at least 1 full season before wondering if his seat is warm....
Judging by how little he sat down tonight I would say it isn't. You have to sit more during a game to get your seat up to the proper temperature. Not sure he is achieving it.
