If that is how Jamie felt, and he has noticed a difference in the officiating I am glad he said something. Of course, it's a bit far fetched, but it is uncanny how many calls go against us in MBB and FB. it goes way past coincidence. A school should not have a wall full of apologies. The refs have a bias I think that is clear.

This reprimand by the Big 12 is pointless and unnecessary. Sure it has to be done but what good does it do now? None. So Pollard can't say anything bad anytime soon again. Alright he never says anything bad until this one time. And financial penalties are useless too, unless its a death penalty like Penn State type fine. A $25,000 fine to a multi-million dollar athletics program? Big deal. A $25,000 check payable to the Big 12? Pocket change.

If this accomplishes anything it is that the refs will be more prone to public scrutiny when they call something for or against ISU from now on. I'd love to see them **** us again just to watch the world burn.

It's not necessarily a bias against ISU either. It is possibly a bias for the favorite and against the underdog. ISU is far too often the underdog. It just makes me think that the Big12 has crappy officials all together who let the identity of the teams playing affect their calls.

While "all eyes are on them now," it won't matter. I'm not even seeing this on ESPN yet. It won't become a bigger story than "ISU AD fined $25k" that's why the Big 12 statements was so brief. Issue the fine and let the matter evaporate.

You're right, but it's been said. It only takes the attention to be brought to the officiating for them to feel the pressure of not ******* it up anymore. If they continue to do so, it only reinforces ISU's claims.

It sounds like Leath was consulted on Jamie's remarks and agreed with them.

Because we're not in the SEC.

If every student at ISU gave $1, we'd have more than enough to pay Pollard's fine.

I think this is probably most accurate. It isn't that the refs are out to get ISU, they just plain suck.

It will happen again and the college football world will keep turning without burning.

If any of the other power 5 conferences would take ISU, make the move. As it is, there is no where to go. Cash the football checks and hope they don't mess up the basketball calls (outside of protecting KU).

Still behind Jamie. His actions weren't popular with probably 50-60 percent of the fanbase, if not more, but he gave the other group a voice. The Texas apology was enough. The Kansas State apology was ridiculous. Both directly led to losses that could have been signature wins over ranked teams. For a program needing a jolt those wins would have been priceless.

The two blown calls Saturday in no way effected the outcome, we know Oklahoma State would have rolled Iowa State regardless. They're a good team. The mouthbreathers and Jay Bilas types don't understand that Saturday's eruption wasn't about Saturday's calls only but repeated incompetence that happened to go against one school too many times to stomach. How many apologies has Oklahoma State received? Kansas State? I applaud him.
