Championships, success is measured in CHAMPIONSHIPS, every fan knows it. and 1908 was the last time it happened for the cubs. The odds are better this year that it gets achieved but it's no where near a certainty. It's a long season and tough post-season to be Worlds Series Champs. It's the only thing that matters. Ask Golden State or the Marlins,....best record is nice but it's not a Championship.

And go back to the cubs threads and keep patting yourselves on the back,.............. like a$$holes hok fans before the rose bowl.

You could sweep the series against the Cubs this week and still trail the Cubs by 9.5 games...

I feel bad for the rest of the posters in this thread. Guys drop by to give a quick gentle natured barb and this guy engages them so they stay and troll rather than going on their way. Apparently he likes it otherwise he would just let them be on their way rather than goading on each poster.

So the Cards swept Pittsburgh on the road and sweep the best team in baseball on the road, but lose all 5 games in St. Louis to the AL. Maybe they can play all their games on the road?
