Those fairly decent of numbers at a premium defensive position such as SS, CF, or C coupled with the fact he's a little over half a season removed from a .850 OPS I think the Jays did quite well. The Cardinals sold when Rasmus's value is low because TLR didn't like him.

I haven't been pleased with him since his work on the Supreme Court. Thought he could have been more productive.
Despite Cardinal fan's rationalizing the overall vein for the trade is in favor of Toronto:
