Jon Miller is a tool. He just stated the cherished Hawkeye lie (when they lose of course); that Iowa State won because they put more emphasis on this game than does Iowa!!

Iowa, the school that has scored one touchdown in 8 quarters of football. Love it..

Lets hope for a pre Hayden like era of 20 years of them having a crappy program.

Actually I think UNI will have the defense to keep that stat on or near that trend. I'll be cheering for UNI. Really wish that UNI coulda been been the one to take down WISCY too. Man the little 10 is as over-rated as ever. The espn/little 10 appologists were talking again about how the B1G was top two conference in the country, Right now I'm not so sure they aren't #5.

Review, end of quarter, and TV commercials stopped the Hawkeye momemtum.

Of course the review where they called back the obvious 4 yard short of touchdown pass completion stopped their momentum.

Reviewing Shontrelle's fumble should've stopped their momentum as well, but it didn't happen.

It pains me to say it, but I gotta give credit to the Aggies and Mizzou for moving to the SEC and looking good in first conf matchups. These two weren't even the top dogs in the Big12 but they move to the SEC and still hold their own.

I think it speaks to what the Big 12 really is from top to bottom.

The SEC has a couple of teams playing in a different world right now, but that conference isn't full of world beaters top to bottom. After Alabama and LSU, it's a lot of hype.

The number 3 team in the SEC last year just lost to LA-Monroe. SEC is good, really good - but as say they are still beatable. Texas will be back and when they are - the talk willr return to the Big 12. Hate to admit it, but when Texas is relevant in the Top 5 Conversation, it elevates the perception of the league, just as Alabama and LSU have elevated the perception of their league
