If your wife asks you if it looks like she has been putting on weight how should you respond?

Is total honesty always the best policy?

It all matters if she can handle it or not. MrsBrianHos and I have been married a long time, she can handle it. If she asks the question, I am gonna tell her the truth.

if you think she can handle it.. but don't risk it unless you're sure you can handle getting kicked in the nuts.. it may happen

I'm always truthful with my wife when she asks those type of questions. We have been married 7 years and she hasn't kicked me in the nutz yet.

Sometimes honesty is not the best policy. I think we have a pretty good bball team for instance.

Always tell the truth, then you never have to remember what you've said.

Respond with a question: "Why would you ask that?" or "Are you kidding?"

Then, she has to answer for herself and YOU are in the clear.

Looks, weight, or appearance, no, unless you don't need to lie. Everything else, yes, except the underground gambling and loansharking ring. I learned the hard way on that venture.

It just depends on who it is. Sometimes, you'll screw yourself by saying yes, and others if you say no, you'll screw yourself for not being honest

I am a lawyer. It depends who is paying.
