I think the Dad in the first season was different. Why is there 1 or 2 espisodes where Jerry has a different dad? I have always been curious.

Seinfeld is my all-time favorite comedy. Second is Curb Your Enthusiasm is second.
Nothing else is close IMO.

Ahhhh….I hate to break this to you, but it is just a TV show and that is not his real father.
Same TV father, two different actors.
Although rare, this has happened on other shows in TV's past. The most obvious to me is Darrin from Bewitched.
or the original Becky in Roseanne, then the new one, then back to the original...
Great shows but Arrested Development is by far better IMO.Seinfeld is my all-time favorite comedy. Second is Curb Your Enthusiasm is second.

When grown up DJ is in the mental hospital "They say she's the same, but she's not the same. They say she's the same, but she's not the same..."or the original Becky in Roseanne, then the new one, then back to the original...
I agree but the bastards took it off the air.Great shows but Arrested Development is by far better IMO.
My favorite is Jackie Chiles "Who told you to put the balm on, did I tell you to put the balm on, I didn't tell you to put the balm on?"
Jackie Chiles had his own spinoff in the works at one point. This is a public humiliation.
No one can tell what a balm is gonna do! They are unpredictable!
I love the fact that my jakemcilroy will randomly text me sienfeld sayings. I have almost spit out pop in company meetings several times because of this. What I loved about Sienfeld was that no one ever grew up or learned anything. As a sitcom this is what set it apart from MASH and Roseanne and the like. Those would occasionally deal with a real deep topic. I like the randomness from episode to episode. And I like the fact that there was very little continuous storyline from episode to episode. Only settings (like Elaine's job for Mr. Pitts or George working for the Yankees).
