I haven't seen a single Husker fan post about this or anything football related on facebook in a while. Normally they would be chomping at the bit while clutching their little red balloon just waiting for football season to start.

It's like Moe Iba getting fired as their basketball coach in the mid-80s. It was actually a reporter from the student newspaper that busted them having secret practices then. They probably have a better basketball history if he would have stuck around.
Today also made me recall the Iba incident. It was during a period where you could do conditioning drills, but were not allowed to have basketballs present. The kid reporter was locked out of practice, but recorded the sound of dribbling through the door. Iba’s comment was that the kid didn’t know how to tell the difference between a basketball and a grapefruit.

I have a money making proposal for Jamie to consider: Sell visitation rights to Fusker Fans who are disenchanted with how life has been for them since they left the Big 12 and let them come to the tailgating around JTS for each game, then move them into Hilton where they can watch some really great football on a big screen video board. I would think that they'd be willing to pay $250 per ticket per game for attending such an awesome pre-game atmosphere and watching the Cyclones win the Big 12 outright!! Heck, if Jamie can fill Hilton for each game, that'd be somewhere around $3.6 million per game and close to $22 million for the 6 home games!!
