Scalping tickets...................

I'm sure some will disagree and some may agree with me, but it really pisses me off to see ISU fans on this ISU website trying to rip other Clone fans off. I understand that there are donations and other things that people figure into what they are going to have to ask for for a ticket, but why take advantage of another Clone fan just because you can?? Just because its a huge game, does that make it ok? I dont think so. What do you think? Would I give a flying #%$ if you were doing it on Stubhub or somewhere else? NO, but to consistently see it on here is bull IMO. :realmad:

I'm selling two seats out of my 4, $400 a piece but you get to sit by me for the entire game which pretty much makes up the difference in price.

its not a rip off if its market value.

There was a time where you couldn't even get face for a ticket when you sold it on gameday.

And let me tell you, the ability to sell off some of the tickets does assist in the ability for our AD to sell more season tickets. When you know you can recoup your investment if you can't make all the games, it makes it very easy to make the call to buy a season ticket.

I've seen $100 a ticket on here... that doesnt seem like its too out of bounds, considering it may have had a $1000 donation with it, and face runs $70 after ticketmaster.

I don't think people understand that a ticket to an Iowa State game is a hot ticket right now. Back in the chiz days you couldn't even give away tickets. I know that first hand. It was a lost cause to get the money you put into tickets and get it back. Both from the product on the field and attempting to sell tickets. I don't think any of the ticket offers on here are rip off at all. If you don't want to want to see deals on here then don't open their threads

I have seen many. One the other day was 4 lower level tickets for 400$. One this morning was for 80$ a piece. I've seen 5 or 6 over the last few days that were at least asking a 100 per ticket.

And?

If I were local and didn't have season tickets, I'd be willing to drop $100/ticket for this game. Not really out of line considering the 4 @$100/ticket were lower level on the 50 yard line (one of those two sellers also included a parking pass).

Its a sellout game between 2 top 25 teams that are ranked. What do you expect?

What is wrong with 4 $100 seats? Those tickets probably cost the guy $125 each.

I see nothing wrong with face value or even a few dollars more for the donation that the season ticket holder had to pay. Its just my opinion, hate to see Clones not be able to see a game due to another Clone taking advantage of our current success and winning.

I think ISU fans are spoiled compared to most when it comes to ticket prices. Thanks to CPR the days where you can buy decent tickets for cheap is going away.

So would you want someone that has invested hundreds of dollars into tickets to give them away for nearly nothing and lose their *** on them? I have no problem with the prices I've seen.
