Does anybody know if Jacob has been seen at practice this week?
Just my opinion on the matter FWIW. The fact that he is "day to day" and listed as the co-starter for QB (with Kempt) says he must be playing with the team again however may not start. This could be a combination of him still taking care of some issues and Kempt playing so well.

I've been told he has not been seen around the football complex. The majority of his classwork is done online, as well.

He's obviously in Ames, though because Lazard mentioned he was going to talk with him.

why is that ridiculous? People on the team, coaches, training staff, equipment staff, etc. read the board and don't wan't incorrect crap thrown out there.

If incorrect info is being passed around and the coaches and staff are truly worried about it, why send Cubs to clear that up? If it's an issue they should probably contact CW or the owners of the board.

Well players have friends that are not on the football team, those players vent to those non-football friends.

And that's probably where it should end. If there is actual misinformation out there that the coaches and staff feel needs to be taken care of then they can contact an owner or writer for this board. A couple players telling Cubs to try to clear things up on a message board sounds ridiculous.
