Review and discuss. I predict a long thread.

Does this sound familiar.....

"Matt is a stain; so is his life partner Travis Justice. He is an antagonist that lacks anything resembling objective reporting. He is either oblivious to, ignores, or replaces facts with his own dispositions. Also, if you check his blog, you will find that he has his collar popped in his golfing photo. Arkansas - Altman = NCAA Tournament. And I remember the day he came back and Matt giggled like a smitten school girl. Lame on all accounts just mentioned. I only listen to the show because we have a daily office pool on how may times Matt will say "uh" or "um". Weak!!"

"I change the channel at 2PM sharp everyday because Perrault sucks serious balls. I gave the show a chance, but the guy is a serious toolbag".

"Horrible show, thinks way to highly of himself. I wonder if Dana Altman has to remove Matt's head to wipe his ***".

Marty is on the air right now touting the ratings book which came in last week.

Maybe the tide is turning.

I know I am feeding the fire, but I have to rant.

So I don't listen much to Chuckles and Ken any more. Usually, I'll turn it on during my drive home and at the first sign of irritation, I'll switch it to sat. radio. But I do manage to get the jist of what they talk about through message boards and stupid twitter.

So yesterday I was fairly irritated when apparently those two dimwits spent a large amount of time on their view of ethics and attending a NBA draft party. First, it is not a huge deal, no matter what. Second, Craig had the party in Ames. Third, again why is this a huge deal? It was a huge house with a lot of people in it. It wasn't like Iowa State and/or Fred was forcing Craig to sit there with him the entire time.

Honestly, Chuckles said today that Hoiberg DID get an invitation to the thing. I can imagine that if you weren't sure if you should attend, it would be hard to navigate. If he was invited and didn't show up, maybe you irritate someone who we should want to be a visable part of the Iowa STate family. And JUST MAYBE there is nothign sinister about it at all.

So today, as I was leaving work I turned on kxno and listened to the last caller about the whole, stupid subject. Miller asked Chuckles what he thought McDermott thought of Hoiberg being there. And Chuckles chuckled knowingly about how he 'imagined' he wasn't happy about it. Since Chuckles is connected to Creighton, it is very possible that McDermott wasn't happy about it (I have no idea if he was invited and couldn't make it or if he was snubbed). But that really isn't the point. McDermott left us. He wasn't fired. He wasn't pushed out. He took what he perceived to be a better opportunity and LEFT US. Not the other way around. So, in my mind, McDermott loses a lot of his ability to be peeved at Iowa State because he did the leaving. He made his choice and we had to make ours? Were we supposed to go around pining for McDermott all summer?

And I'm not trying to bash McDermott. There were few people that were more in his corner this last season than me. And I wanted him to stay at Iowa State up until he actually took the Creighton job.

I am not sure what problem Chuckles has with Hoiberg---but he clearly has one. You would think he would be happy since he got his coach, but in his twisted mind we were apparently supposed to give up our basketball program since he left us. Kind of like we were supposed to give up our BSC conference because it entertained Chuckles.

My listening time today clocked out at around 1 minute 30 seconds. My car is getting repaired for the next week, so I don't have my satalitte radio. I sense a lot of anger in my future :)

I have heard both shows flat out say they are "killing the other station in the ratings." Someone is lying.

I did catch a bit of Moron Tirrell's show a couple weeks ago and heard him refer to them as "Fatso and Fruit Loops". :biglaugh:

Matt doesn't like Hoiberg because Matt made an *** out of himself on the radio when the Hoiberg hire was announced and John Walters put him in his place. I think Matt will forever hold a grudge against Fred and John for that. After his constant rants about Pollard, you can tell the guy doesn't let go of a grudge. I'm sure Hoiberg and Walters are right under Pollard on his "list." I can't help but think Matt goes home every night, looks at his list, and puts on lipstick like Steve Buscemi's character in Billy Madison...

I heard today's show and even after it was confirmed that Fred was invited he went after him. I hope he's homeless someday. Glad his Celts lost.

ChrisWWilliam,

Has Matt ever promised you radio pub in return for editing or locking threads that he objects to?

Buy something that advertisers on KXNO sell, save the receipt, and then drop it off at the KXNO sponsor. Include a note that says "I would have bought this from you but you advertise on KXNO during the Matt and Miller show."

I haven't read this whole thread, but Matty loves to reach.

I have posted this before...but look in the Dictionary under ********* Matt and you will see something like this:

I really struggle to come up with ANYTHING remotely wrong with Freddy being at the party with CB, but ole Matt and don't forget that assbag Kenny were all over it.

Matt takes all the heat...which he mostly deserves...but you have to admit that Kenny knows **** from shinola about anything other than horse racing and hockey. He likes to take his shots at ISU any chance he gets as well.

My question is how does Chris and Matt know that Hoiberg did nothing for his career? The funny thing is McDermott did not even get invited if Hoiberg was there, shows the respect Brackins has for McDermott. I mean didnt Brackins coach that team anyway last year, why would he need McDermott there, Craig called the shots? Glad to see McDermott back in the MVC where he can win 1 title in another 20 years.

Can you imagine what the press would do if GMac would have showed up? Now THAT would be stealing the spotlight from Craig. Especially with both he and Hoiberg there. You won't see me defending GMac's coaching or relationship with players, but he made the right decision not to attend.
