I honestly never had a problem with Matt until this whole conference realignment thing.

He wont admit it, but he gets erections off negative news and thoughts towards ISU.

Dont forget Jaimie Pollard...you know deep down he really just wants to be besties with JP.

With what I have heard rumored on ratings, I will be surprised if we still have this problem a year from now. I don't need someone pro ISU on the radio, but I turn to sports for fun and Matt seems determined to make issues out of everything. He is like the guy who goes into a happening party that just kills the atmosphere. I have quit listening to him and listen to Marty (until he annoys me too much...can be 5 minutes or 30 depends on the day) and then go to KGGO. I read the twitter stuff you linked to and once again he looks for something to make an issue of and take fun out of sports. Any one know if he said it on air too?

I am guessing that his determination to take fun out of sports is a big part of ratings decline.

There is no doubt in my mind that he has pictures of JP all over his 1 room efficiency apartment.

I think coaching four NBA players (two first rounders) and never having a winning season speaks for itself.

Exactly.

As for this Matt character, who gives a ****? I've never listened to a word he has uttered, but if the discussions on this board are true he's just some sad little person looking for attention. Don't give it to him.

My question is how does Chris and Matt know that Hoiberg did nothing for his career? The funny thing is McDermott did not even get invited if Hoiberg was there, shows the respect Brackins has for McDermott. I mean didnt Brackins coach that team anyway last year, why would he need McDermott there, Craig called the shots? Glad to see McDermott back in the MVC where he can win 1 title in another 20 years.

Do you really feel like it was a stunt that Hoiberg was at the draft party?

There seems to be some confusion on this. Those were Matt Perrault's statements. The @ChrisWilliams part just means that he was talking back and forth with Chris. Chris was arguing with Matt's statements. You just can't see his responses.

The last time I saw the real ratings, Matt and Ken were doing really well. They just destroyed Marty.

I never said that. Why include me in that? Fred has been scouting Craig for years. That's how Fred and T.J. have such a great relationship, through Craig. In fact, Craig is one of the reasons why it was so easy for Fred to hire T.J. as his associate head coach. They have had a relationship ever since Craig became and NBA prospect and knew each other very well.

Did you bother watching any of Craig's videos where he thanked McDermott? Do you ever bother to check things or just make assumptions all the time? I'm also willing to bet that Fred did next to nothing for Craig. That's what his agent is for. He never coached him, Craig was gone before Fred even got here. I'm going to guess Fred was there as a representative of Iowa State. Fred MIGHT have been able to speak on character if he knew Craig previously, but that I don't know.

I along with others misread the tweets, I appologize for that.

McDermott very well could have been invited. CB has a lot of respect for him, not sure it's worth piling on.

Maybe it's just me, but why can't we just be happy for Craig? And as an aside, Iowa State got some exposure as well. Nobody loses. What a non-issue.

For the record, I do believe that McDermott did a lot for Craig's development as a player. I know that he did. Let's not kick Greg right now. It's not necessary IMO.

I agree. He is gone, move on.

I have heard the interviews, even the ones last night. Point? Why was McDermott not there? Sometimes actions speak louder than words. I have just wondered since last season if Brackins respects McDermott as coach.
