Since we can't stop talking about the drive time...
For comparison:
Ona to Ames: 3:45
Ona to Madison: 2:15
Ona to Charlottesville: 17 hrs +/- drive time, or 2:15 to MSP, 1.5 check-in, security and wait time, 2.5 non-stop flight to DC, 2:15 drive to Charlottesville for a total travel time of 7.5 hrs.

Cydkar, you seem to be in the know/have a good feel for these things. What percentages would you put the three guys at who are visiting this weekend? Or anybody else pertinent to Iowa State basketball?
I am NOT in the know. If Matt Thomas doesn't become a Cyclone I will be more than moderately surprised and supremely disappointed. I like our chances with Monte Morris as well but probably not as much as Matt. DFS...I have no idea.
This visit is big for Morris and huge for DFS. Matt can learn a little bit as well from whatever freshmen have made it to campus. Georges is here but that's all I know about.
Regarding Morris. It's always encouraging when a kid spends money to fly to your school on an unofficial visit. Driving isn't cheap these days either.
