I have no inside sources. I know a few people inside the program and it is their job not to say anything. Fred and co turned themselves in for the recruiting violations by Lefty Moore et al., I doubt they would reveal anything to anyone.

My gut (and logic) says UNLV. Kaffey is still in the area at Findlay and he is friends with Dwayne Morgan. I can see the appeal of UNLV to RV. ISU has appeal as well, but maybe not enough to get him to sign at the dotted line.

If this recruitment were "The Bachelor", ISU would be the chick that doesn't get proposed to. Maybe we will be "The Bachelorette" next season, but for now we'll take a kick to the stones as is the Iowa State Way.

Regardless of what happens tonight, I'm going to enjoy it. Look at where we are, as opposed to 5/6 years ago. If Vaughn does go to UNLV, I know I'm not going to look back at this 10 years from now and say, "There. Right there with Rashad Vaughn. That was Hoiberg's chance to take us to the next level and it didn't happen."

Iowa State is not the side in this that could potentially miss out on something special when the decision is announced. That lies with RV. That being said, hope he picks the good guys. Go Cyclones!

No matter what he decides today does it really matter? It's not like he's signing an LOI. He still has time to change his mind before he signs.

I just have one more thing to say. If Vaughn does not come to ISU then we need to take a serious look at replacing Matt Abdelmassih. He has not had much success on the recruiting trail especially high school kids. Seriously who has this guy got to commit here?

This. Its OK to have a gut feeling that its UNLV (thats my gut feeling as well), but to claim you have inside sources that are telling you this just so you can pound your chest, say you were right and that you have more inside knowledge then the average poster is childish.

I'm going to go ahead an predict that Des Moines gets a couple of inches of snow tomorrow, so when it does happen I can show everyone how I am better at meteorology...

Not sure if serious? I think you forgot the pirate thingy. DQ went out of business a while ago. However, we have a Dairy Barn that is excellent (even if it is a bit pricey), AND the men's BBall style of play is extremely entertaining. So there are those advantages.

Aw dang. That might affect his decision now.

If Vaughn picks UNLV, that'll be two 5-star recruits and a 4-star coming in next year. Not to mention two 4-star guys they got this year. Show me the money!
