We now have a special bowl game/season in review uniform thread. Hilarious.

He has a chart with every uniform from every game and what our opponents wore.

I won't say that I've never been that bored, but I will say that I'm not there right now.

My godson's birthday is coming up and I'm going to get him some KState gear since he's heading there next year after he graduates. Is it bad taste to throw a yellow rag in there and then pick it up and tuck it in my back pocket after he opens the gift?

Is he enough of a FB fan that he would get the reference or not? Other than in FB I really don't mind KSU at all. Their fans don't seem to be near as arrogant as KU's. I really hope the wizard retires, since the refs gave him a retirement gift of a victory over ISU for a farewell gift.

Not exactly sure.
This family is beat up. Son is rehabbimg torn ACL, daughter is waiting out a possible concussion, even the dog has a torn ACL. Maybe playing full contact, no foul basketball on the driveway concrete wasn't a good idea.

Daughters varsity coach returned my call and was fine with sitting her for a while. Mentioned that her style of play definitely increases the chances for a reinjury. Then said maybe in her abscenae a few girls will join her in her style.

Edit: also, had to take my mom to ER which they ended up calling pneumonia and admitted her due to age.

Afternoon project is building a bubble.

Speaking of daughters, the teenage daughter asked last night if it would be OK if she played tennis with one of the boys in one of her classes. I was hoping that she'd be done with boys after one relationship where she very rarely saw the boy. Here is what we learned about the new potential suitor after a grilling session.

His name is Garret, he has 4 siblings, he's on the tennis team, he's about an inch taller than her, they met in European History class, he lives on the border of our town and the one next to us (probably in a neighborhood where we know several of the families). and he takes Honors courses. They will be driving separately to the tennis facility and will be leaving immediately afterwards as we will be gone and she needs to get home and make dinner for her siblings.

He's not a history major is he? Those guys are just the worst.

With 5 girls in the house, I eventually mounted a .30cal machine gun on the front porch. Tended to keep most of the boys at bay.
