Sunday Sunday Sunday. Final list. BBQ ribs and some pulled pork. Baked beans. Chips. Soft serve ice cream and either water or lemonade.

Will be no meat leftovers.
I'll take the rest. I guess I'll have to go to the church across the street to heist the meat leftovers.

The Target at 132 & Maple is the same way. One time before they added self checkout I was there and there was one checkout line open with a very long wait. It was like number 20. A woman walked past all the way to lane 1 and opened it then yelled at us Lane One is open! You couldn't open number 19?

We prefer scanning our own groceries because it allows us to BAG our own groceries without argument. We prefer to group things so that the bags go to the garage freezer, the refrigerator, the cupboards, and "other" stuff (bathroom items or office items), and we put way more stuff in our bags. You buy 20 items and they put them in 14 bags...oy!

Bagging groceries is a lost art. And I agree - sets my teeth on edge when they put one item inn a bag. Geesh, it's not like the landfills are crying out for more stuff...... o_O

did I tell you guys how we went to Target, BBB, Home Depot, and Menard's the day I went into labor? I really, really wanted to find a lamp for the nursery. And new pillows. Did get pillows, still don't have a lamp. Got some looks laying on the beds at BBB trying them out. Probably thought I was in labor...............they were not wrong! Got comfy pillows though.

Giving birth at BBB would have made an awesome commercial for them. Plus big exposure for you, and probably royalty checks......

I haven't bought small trash bags since we moved into our house 15 years ago. We buy kitchen bags but for all of the bedroom and bath trash cans we use shopping bags as liners. We often when we think of it will use reusable bags when shopping but even then we can't (re)use the disposable bags fast enough to keep up.

Yep, we do the same thing. (Great minds think alike, of course.) I just get tired of seeing them scattered around out by the shopping centers, and hung up in the trees.

Dh texted to ask to talk. I call and he goes "I got fired"

I got pissed. He "forgot" that I didn't find it funny when he said he got laid off last spring when I was pregnant. He says ok he won't do it again. Not funny!

In reality, they want him on a new team for a new project and want a decision today so he wanted to talk through that. But dude, I don't care how safe your job is, that's never funny!
