The THT shoplifting thread reminds me of this story.

A friend is a pilot for Menards Corporation. On one trip, he was flying John Menard and a couple of attorneys. Just prior to leaving the corporate jet, one of the attorneys grabbed a couple of bottles of Diet Coke out of the plane's fridge. When the attorney returned at the end of the day, John Menard was waiting for him.

"You stole 2 bottles of Coke from me."
"I did not steal 2 bottles of Coke."
"Admit to me that you stole 2 bottles of Coke."
"No, I will not admit that I stole 2 bottles of Coke."

Evidently, these lines were repeated for several minutes. Finally, the attorney quit and found a different way to get home.

We are literally going to Home Depot and Bed, Bath and Beyond tonight. My life is pretty much a movie.

In the same night?!?

Some pretty salacious John Menard tidbits here:

I mapped out our poker run for June 1st in Google maps. I created the link and if I post the link in my browser it is correct, If I post it on facebook the map is correct.
If I use the send the map to my phone option it has the route but reroutes part of it.
Then I created a QR code and it reroutes the same part as well. Weird.

Maybe I'll just try to recreate it from scratch and see if it makes a difference.
Unless you're worried that the route might change, could you just make it a pdf and send to everyone?

It's all small purchases. My wife wants to go to Home Depot to buy succulents there because they cost a dollar each.

You can shoplift more than one at a time if you take them out of their pot. Will save you trips.

Ah, it's that THT thread influence, can't help it. Just read through it and the Prohm haters are totally losing their ****.

You never know who is going to show up as people just come in and sign up on the day of the run. They can go to our facebook page and see it. We have directions on each run sheet. I just wanted to add the QR code option if possible. The tech is there, might as well try to use it.

I recreated the Google maps link and it still does the same thing, reroutes one portion of the run. But only if I send my link to the phone or use the QR code. So I guess the QR code is off the table this year.

Apparently the major spoiler article for E5 that one person linked proved to be very accurate. I guess my problem is that I don't want to know what will happen in advance, and it's that one in 20 that will ruin an episode for me. :(
Asking people to respect the spoiler function didn't work, so I abandoned the thread. That disappoints me because I love talking about what happened in an episode; so many times people spot things that I didn't. And if I have to avoid spoilers, I lose that too.

Yeah, I know...mememememememe. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I apologize for that. I asked for the spoiler to be posted under a spoiler tag since I'm unable to watch the show at this time and I won't be able to avoid spoilers until I am able to see it. I should have predicted others not being able to not discuss it and ruin it for others.

I think I'll start policing the Wal-Mart self-checkout lines now as a community service.
Our Walmart got rid of the self checkout lines long ago. I just figured Walmart felt they were too convenient and not enough people were being forced to wait in long lines.
