Looks in mirror... Nope

Nate Stanley is so fat he obstructed JCs keyboard.

Well duh. He obstructs everybody's keyboard and is the primary reason we barely see the sun anymore.

Reasons for JCs absence:

1) He only logs on during work and with the gov't shutdown, he has been unable to get to his work computer.


2) Too busy with this holiday activity

1. Our branch isn't shut down... yet.

2. No swinging this holiday but I did finish third in the neighbor's NYE basement cornhole tournament.


Also, it looks like our Spring Break vacation plan is almost complete.

The one I saw on the news this morning they had blindfolded their 18mo old who they then ran into a doorway/wall. You can’t tell me these are the parents who are surviving.

In the movie they are blindfolded so they don't see whatever the heck is going on so of course idiots decided they should blindfold themselves and then try to do daily stuff.

I just saw it so probably a week late as usual.

There's a Netflix show or something where you have to be blindfold to survive, and the main character has to find their way around blindfolded.

So, naturally, humans are filming each other doing things blindfolded.

I say let nature run its course on this type of thing.

I've been painting houses over break with the company I used to work for in the summers. Today we went to a house with BEAUTIFUL stained cherry cabinets in the kitchen, a matching vanity in the bathroom, and a matching hutch in the hall. The rest of the woodwork in the house is white and the owners wanted everything to match, so guess what we did. We painted all of that gorgeous cherry white. It was a terrible feeling knowing that with every brush stroke no one would ever see the cherry again and they would just be plain white cabinets.

Reminds me of a story told to me several years ago when I toured the Marvin Windows plant up in northern Minnesota. The tour guide told us a customer paid the major up-charge for their windows and doors to be completely made from walnut for a complete home, then had the installer paint them all white. What a waste of beautiful natural wood!
