First world problems - my BIL keeps the house set at 76 degrees. He doesn't like turning on the ceiling fans because they make him too cold. I've been wearing tank tops & shorts since we got here, and I haven't stopped sweating yet. I can understand it for my father, but BIL is only 70!!! Thank goodness tonight is our last night of TRYING to sleep here.
A little late with the advice, but did you try coming out of your bedroom in the morning stark naked to get the point across to BIL?

Hopefully there is time yet to try some version of this tactic...

So the Minnesota Twins won the AL Central last night. In keeping with the tradition of Minnesota nice, I'm guessing there is lutefisk all over the streets this morning. :p
Don't forget that MN United won last night clinching a playoff spot as well. They came back from a 0-1 deficit with a goal in the 71st minute and then the winner in the 90th minute. Mrs. Velo talked about getting us tickets but didn't. It must have been wild there in the second half. They really need one more win in these last two games to solidify a home playoff game.

I'm not sure if the smell is lutefisk or Asian carp.

Carp! Touchy subject for Boxster. Triggered!

Nobody cares about the Asian carp threat anymore except maybe Prof. Sorensen at the U. Good guy, BTW. Worked with him to get the permissions to put his experimental acoustic system into the lock chamber at Lock and Dam 8. As soon as the environmental groups and Sen. Klobuchar got the Mpls city locks closed they suddenly lost interest in the "yuge" threat they were screaming about for a few years. The carp scare was just he means to their end and that was to close the lock so they could initiate land use changes in Mpls.

Well reroofing project was more challenging than anticipated. the west end was no problem but the east end was more securely fastened than anticipated. Finished up the south side just before dark and have rethought the north side probably going to just pull the loose nails out and replace them with pole barn screws probably going away from the tin removal theory. The south side does look really good though so hopefully it will be good for many yrs.

Fellow RTTers did you all see the email from the AD about open BB practices in early Oct. If not I'll go back and get the details and post them if anyone is interested.

Now regretting not buying ice cream earlier this evening. My cold relapsed bad yesterday and today (thought it was done and gone). Cold wants, and is demanding, ice cream.
