I miss Taco Tico so much. Everybody in FD loves it. Taco Tico is to Fort Dodge what Runza is to Nebraska except that Tico is awesome and Runza's just OK. I'd recommend ordering a Tico Dinner plate and a smothered sancho (it's not on the menu).

When did they quit having it in Humboldt?

Quite a while back. They bought their own ground up near Algona more than 80 acres if I remember right.

Everything was soft, so Im not taking a chance and just going to throw it out the night before garbage goes out

If it was still cool you could brown all the ground products and refreeze them for later I did that when I had a freezer die.

DH was in the Lions Club that served Sunday morning breakfast at the OxBow Building. Apparently there are some legendary stories about people who showed up for breakfast ....

I could tell you stories about things I saw at Sheldon Park that would have been right at home in a porno movie........

Went in to look at my MBB invoice. I'm in there for just a few seconds, like 10, when a chat window pops up to ask why I'm not completing the invoice right now.

I shared my thoughts about pushiness. Probably made a new friend or two.
Weird. I didn't get that...and I left the window open while I went outside to check with Lew to see if we were keeping all three seats.

I can't stand when you go to a website and within 2 seconds there is a pop up asking you to rate your experience on the site. I have given them all zeros and then commented that it is impossible to rate my experience when it amounted to them asking me to do a survey before I had a chance to do anything else.

Not exactly sure.
Finished the regular season against the local rival in baseball and softball. Son did well on senior night and daughter was thrown a high heat that she launched into the top side of the machine shed that sits 15 feet behind the fence. She had been close several times but would hit the fence. Finally cleared it this time.

I let them know that it was awfully pushy, and they could go ahead and relax with the deadline weeks away.

I think I have it figured out. I run an ad-blocker; that may stop some of that stuff, maybe?

Fired up the grill last night, and about 2 minutes after I put the steaks on it started to rain.

Hard.

So I finished off the grilling holding an umbrella. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Well, maybe not invention, but something. :D

When it started raining here about 5:30pm an umbrella wouldn't have helped. Unless you wanted to try your hand at playing Mary Poppins.

Wherever I go, there I am.
Watched the storm pass to the south while at the game. Looked heavy with a lot of lightening.

Today's word from A.Word.A.Day: Godwin's Law (And, yes, I know it's two words.)
This week's theme is "Whose what?"
https://wordsmith.org/words/today.html
I think it's the theme for most threads outside RTT.

The Feds are requiring more secure ID for air travel. Meaning that your state issues drivers licenses with more documentation backing them up. Minnesota has been slow to comply and now issues a license that complies and another that doesn't. If I want to fly with it as my ID, I have to get the license that complies with the Feds' rules.

EDIT: The passport trumps everything so you can just fly with that in any case.

I think WI is one of the naughty states too. Not sure our driver's license will qualify at all.
