Wherever I go, there I am.
Yah, all kidding aside it's kinda creepy. Given the amount of time I am online and the number of searches I do, the Google/Facebook Overlords have a LOT of information on me. They know from purchases/searches that I have an Audi A5, know my running shoe size, know what size running pants I wear, know I have a bike and buy stuff for it, know I am an ISU grad/fan, that I read the Washington Post and Star Tribune, check out NY Yankee sites, know what kinda of books I like to buy and that they are Kindle and not print, that I like Danish mid-century modern furniture etc etc. And they always are noodling for more. "Hey, Boxster, to PROTECT your FB account you should add more stuff, particularly we would LOVE to have your cell #"
Boxster! Are you a fellow Yankees fan? I hate to say it too loudly, due to the impending attacks that are likely to ensue around here.

You can get pizza delivered in Boone?

If this is the dream, Desiigner. I call poopy on your perception of it.

Not exactly sure.
Think I'm having an awakening sitting here. A lot of, what I would consider, odd people walking by. Only employees seem like typical people to me. Must mean I'm the odd ball if I think all these people are odd.

My daughter is considering going into her school's International Baccalaureate program (it's a pretty new program and only a handful of kids go into it each year). There isn't a whole bunch of unbiased and good info out there about how colleges look at IB programs and tests. Do any of you know how ISU (or any other college) looks at IB programs for the purposes of earning college credits versus more traditional AP programs? Any help or advice is appreciated.

So I have a conference call for the training that I am leaving for next week in a half an hour. It's going to be pretty standard stuff, don't carry your firearm with you on campus, no outside food or drink in the classroom, don't have sex with someone in the woods, you know the basics right.

I don't want to live in a world where two consenting adults can't have filthy sex in the woods.

Looks like it varies by university : http://www.ibo.org/university-admission/recognition-of-the-ib-diploma-by-countries-and-universities/

I took some DMACC courses my senior year. My high school didn't have any AP programs.

There was just a FB post in Ames People (one of the worst FB groups, but gives you a local sample) that said people tend to be horrible tippers and the wear/tear on your vehicle plus buying gas makes it a not so desirable job. If you want to drive around and listen to your radio and expect big money, pizza delivery is not the job for you.

I've heard similarly about being an Uber driver. That the wear on your car makes it not nearly as profitable as people think.

Uber wouldn't be an option for him anyway...

You are required to be 21 years of age or older (23 depending on your city). The intended driver is required to be on the insurance for the vehicle used. A minimum of three years driving experience is mandatory. Your vehicle must be fit to pass an inspection from Uber.Jun 3, 2016
