Almost impossible. 32-32 at the end of regulation. ISU gets the ball first in OT. They score a touchdown, 38-32 ISU. Extra point is blocked and returned for two points by Tech. 38-34 ISU. Tech doesn't score on their OT possession, so that's the final.

Well done. I stand corrected. I considered a runback but didn't consider the other team not getting a field goal.

I also predict that Ricky Sailor still has nightmares about Michael Wagner

Wagner hit him so hard that he doesn't even remember that entire season.

Tech finally opens up the offense and let's the starters loose for a full 4 quarters.

Oh, you must have been playing the backups last year when you got smacked 41-7. That explains it. You guys are serious now!

ISU - 42

TTU - 20

Offense hits it's stride, only one turnover (INT by Jantz, of course) but the running game and all our receiver weaponry are on display. At halftime it's tied 14-14, Cyclone nation is worried but confident and the crowd comes alive in the second half to spur the team on.

At least that's what the voices in my head say.

We are gonna spank you guys. We have a top 10 offense and a top 50 defense. Nothing like last year. People are gonna know we are for real when we win by 5+ tds.

Edwin Arceo is the hero as he knocks in a 57 yard field goal while time expires for Iowa State to pull off a 73-0 victory

I honestly had no idea who Brewer was before you showed up. So I looked him up:

Sure looked like Doege and all of his top receivers played. I wonder why Doege only had 171 yards passing?

Yeah Doege did play, I checked out the participation report and only 1 current starting WR (Eric Ward) played significant minutes against ISU last year, and neither one of our starting RB's played against ISU last year. We won't even get into the OL's that played with torn ACL's. Not taking anything away from ISU because I think they came in with a great game plan, executed it well and wanted it more. Let's not pretend that Texas Tech was 100% though.
