Police in Lincoln, Neb., are investigating an alleged rape at the home of Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong, Jr., the Lincoln Journal Star reported.

If there's something to this then I could see UNL dropping the hammer. They will tolerate this when they're winning. When they're not, this seems like the sort of distraction that will give them an excuse to conduct yet another coaching search.

I thought that was a strange quote as well.

I know that we don't like Nebraska, but it is import that we remember one of our most sacred principles "Innocent until proven guilty". I can't stand how the modern day media has turned this principle upside down. It can ruin a kids life. See: Bubu Palu
