I love the descriptions of what they look for in HS players. "Toughness" and "character" are the words they keep using. Long is a coaches son who went 31-0 last year, oh and he has a BigXII ready body and likes to defend.

Few takeaways I took away from the interview

1. Otz is pretty confident in Malou's ability to come in and contribute right away. He called him the complete package in that he can do everything.
2. They are somewhat looking for Malou to fill the void that Georges will leave
3. Otz sounded pretty confident in Jackson by saying he IS the PG of the future
4. Both freshman have the physical tangibles to come in and play right away
5. Staff is definitely going to look for mid-year transfer possibilities, but they won't be desperate to grab just anyone. He mentioned a physical big would be nice.
