Browns released Joe Haden. He's been a pretty good CB for them. Had a little bit of an off year, last year, but he's very talented. Only 28 years old. He'll get scooped up in no time.

I understand the Browns wanting to free up the salary, but you'd think they could have gotten something for him. Even a late round pick. He's a legitimate starting cornerback in the league. Not the best guy out there, but no slouch either. His contract is medium-high, but not outrageous for the position.Yeah. Sounds like the Chiefs and Saints are the early frontrunners. I wouldn't be surprised if the Colts jumped into the mix too, with Vontae Davis out for the foreseeable future.
That guy must want a job at ESPN.

Is it just me or have there been a lot more trades this pre-season than normal? Browns just traded Cam Erving for the Chiefs 5th round pick. Erving was a 1st round draft pick in 2015.
Browns now have 13 total draft picks in 2018.

The Browns are trying the "Moneyball" approach. Who knows if it will work?
That didn't take long...

Seahawks trade Jermaine Kearse and a 2nd round pick to Jets for Sheldon Richardson

Richardson can be a big time player, but he does/says some bonehead stuff. this could be a big get for Seattle's defense. A 2nd round pick is a lot to give up, though.
