I don't get why teams (KU, UT) have this really odd talent to drain desperation, contested threes in the past few minutes when it's probably still beyond reach. Despite the fact they couldn't hit the side of a barn when they had plenty of good looks throughout the rest of the game.

Texas was un-*******believable shooting 3s in the 2nd half. I don't think they even shoot 30% as a team for the season. They made It 10 in the 2nd half...TEN...out of 14. Good God

Because we either don't close out the whole game aka tech, or we forget to continue to close out at the end of the game. Its not a coincident when it continues to happen, it a player issue. I was really proud for about 25 minutes of the game.

Edit: and yes I am well aware BDJ is the better player and touches the ball more I'm not arguing that. Just stating people fly off the handle. I mean **** go through the thread everyone was excited with BDJ game until he did something wrong then it was 180 the other way.

One thing that I would be fearful of if your a fan is Monte Morris leaving early for the NBA! That player is amazing folks. No question he can play immediately at the next level. I know he has stated that he isn't going anywhere but he could always recant.

When are we going to understand that other teams are not going to lie down for us? Not when we're playing a bad team that hasn't won a Big 12 game yet this year or when you are up by 20 points on someone in the 2nd half.

You must play hard for 40 minutes no matter what the situation is.

Our defense disappears in stretches. This doesn't keep happening by chance. Texas went on a steak like this, as did Tech, as did Baylor. We have a role in that, it isn't just bad luck.

This. People are like gee how come teams get hot against us time and time late in games. I don't know maybe because we refuse to guard the perimeter. Guys are going to make WIDE OPEN shots

We needed to double team Taylor in the last 90 seconds and force him to give up the ball. 34 really good minutes followed by six minutes of bad basketball and poor free throw shooting. Maybe we will get 40 minutes on Saturday. Encouraging that we looked like a Top 10 squad for 80% of the game.

Our defense wasn't great towards the end, but come on. Texas threw up truck loads of contested 3's. Most teams lose that game.

Need to build off what we did in the first half defensively. In the last 3 minutes not much you can do when they literally are chucking up bad 3's and making every one of them

They actually weren't bad threes. They were wide open threes. Luckily it didn't matter in the outcome unless you bet on ISU to cover.
