The TERRIBLE decision-making when we were up 13-14pts with under 4 to go is where this game deteriorated. I like the attack mode, but not at that juncture - mainly because we are a poor FT shooting team. Pull out the ball and make the 'Horns play D for 30 seconds, then take the shot (or get fouled). Had we done that, the game would have ended about 20 minutes ago, and probably a 10-12 point win - even with our typically poor FT shooting. Guys have to be SMARTER & know when the clock is an ally.

7 in a row at one point I think.

We were 65% from the line tonight. You apologists can say it doesn't matter but it does. Never know when the opponent will go on a rampage.

I don't get why teams (KU, UT) have this really odd talent to drain desperation, contested threes in the past few minutes when it's probably still beyond reach. Despite the fact they couldn't hit the side of a barn when they had plenty of good looks throughout the rest of the game.

Because we dropped our intensity....

Texas was un-*******-concious shooting 3s in the 2nd half. I don't think they even shoot 30% as a team for the season. They made It 10 in the 2nd half...TEN...out of 14. Good God

Pretty soon you will realize its not their shooting but the lack of defense by this team. Welcome to Hoiball. Niang was right.

I think many times after a few misses they start overthinking their shots/offense. In crunch time when you don't have time instinct takes over, that's when the talent really shines through.

Glad they can't figure out during most of regulation though... It helps us quite a bit ;)

Teams know our Kryptonite. Perfect game plan by Texas to come back. Our free throw shooting reminds me of a Pink Floyd song..."another brick in the wall..."

Need to build off what we did in the first half defensively. In the last 3 minutes not much you can do when they literally are chucking up bad 3's and making every one of them

Our defense disappears in stretches. This doesn't keep happening by chance. Texas went on a steak like this, as did Tech, as did Baylor. We have a role in that, it isn't just bad luck.

I thought pulling the ball out and eating time is what threw is us off our game. And then Texas couldn't miss...(like felix hitting a 3 toward the end of the shot clock from the 'S' in 'STATE').
