There were a few times in the 3rd and 4th quarter where the stands were deafening. Loudest cyclone power chant I’ve ever heard. There was also a minute long peroid in the second half that was the loudest I’ve ever heard the stadium, including against WVU.
The Cyclone Power chant was glorious. Extremely loud and audible through the TV.

Also I think Uwazirike going down on the first play hurt us quite a bit. He’s a force on the d-line and I think that’s part of why we didn’t get as much pressure today

Anyone know how bad his injury is? I hated to see that.

If I hadn't seen thousands of Iowa State fans complaining about Big 12 refs over the years I wouldn't be on here doing it. I thought this was the one place in college football that some fan would admit when a Big 12 team was getting screwed over by Big 12 refs.

Yeah, on their own message board. I don't think our fans were running over to the Texas boards to expect sympathy.

I honestly didn’t think we’d be ranked in next weeks AP Poll even after the win today, but there are a ton of top 25 teams that have lost already or are currently losing. We just might be ranked. We’ll just have to wait and see.
