That was a game that made you want to slam your head against the wall multiple times, but was a great, competitive football game in the end. Good teams force the other team to make mistakes, and those were both good teams.

I doubted TTU's defense coming into this game, but they are legit up front. DM really had to work hard for his yards today. They will beat someone they are not "supposed" to (hopefully, it will be Texa$ in Lubbock)

Tech's defense is actually pretty good. They sold out to stop DM, so there were passing opportunities, unfortunately there were a lot of drops and TT made a couple of great plays on a couple of the deep shots ISU took.

OL took a step back today as far as I am concerned. Purdy had some freshman ,moments too. Special teams were well, awful is about the only word I can come up with. Blocked punt, missed FG, kickoffs out of bounds, punt returner fair catching inside the 5, some pretty crappy punts and there could be more I am not thinking about. Kene had a nice return I guess, so it was not all bad.

Lots of stuff to work on.

Of their 31 points, 7 were given by our offense and 7 by our special teams. Another of the 7 points were on a short field because of both the offense and special teams. Defense was special despite being on the field a lot. Never had a game get me so worked up throughout the entirety of the game like this. A good root canal describes it perfectly, thanks for the comparison John Walters!

7-0 the last two Octobers with wins against 4 ranked opponents.

Hopefully next season enough pieces are in place for September to be better.

This team can get 8 (9?) which I didn't think was possible a month ago.

I hope our special teams coach asks for some help from the rest of the staff. Coach our guys up that you never fair catch a punt on the four yard line. Then go on to the next half dozen ST miscues.
Hats off to the performance by our Defense. Great effort and well coached. Again.

I'm going to make a blanket statement that applies to absolutely every level of football from freshman HS to NFL. If your nose tackle gets called for defensive holding on a rushing play, you're getting screwed over by the refs, you're 100% going to lose the game, and 100% of the time you're going to lose having WAY more penalties than your opponent and it's 99.8% of the time going to be a road game.

In that scenario, fire every single ref, leave whatever sht conference you find yourself stuck in and flip the double bird on your way out.

Yeah Tech really needs to play cleaner.

They're a decent team. Good luck the rest of the way. Bowman is a stud.

When you get as many apology letters from the big 12 as we have you’ll garner some sympathy.

Cool! So lowly football afterthought ISU has now garnered such Big 12 respect that the refs are ******* the other teams playing us. Damn, such much cool! I are excite about this!
