Man the coaching staff has a lot to answer for today on the offensive side of the ball.

Are we sure Rocco is it? He’s okay but that level of play against the worst secondary in the country immediately after last week’s showing…yikes.

I feel really dumb defending mouse.
Go look at the pick 6s vs UCF. Playing the jumbo personnel and splitting them wide meant the S jumping the route with no fear of getting beat deep. On the one of Noel’s hands you’ve got a cluster underneath because again, you’re splitting backup TEs out wide and inviting traffic in the box and underneath.

The insistence to play backup TEs and then think you are going to have space on quick throws to the outside and be successful underneath is dumb.

I know in the moment people are angry and bitter as I'm too but a bigger picture needs to be looked at to.

We took the field in November as one of 7 undefeated teams remaining.

We have won despite a ton of injuries.

Anyone on this board would of signed up for what we had going into today.

There is still plenty this team can still accomplish that past teams haven't done.
Agree 100%. And this is and still is a magical year. Look at the injuries at linebacker; with all those injuries in a heacock defense I am pleasantly happy to be 7-1 and I think we may still control our destiny for the big 12 championship game

Hopefully the team will learn from this and make them stronger.

Taking Higgins and Noel out on the same play at any time in the game is...awkward? Odd? Bad?

Squib kicks, untimely penalties, wasting timeouts and red zone woes were common themes in our 1-score losses in 2022 and 2023. We saw too much of that again today.
Someone help me understand why we’re not kicking out of the end zone? I know it was raining but we seem to do this a lot. And it seems to cost us 5 to yards a lot

**** around and find out. The offense has been riding on luck all year. For ***** sake, so many lower level teams are able to figure it out, yet our o line sucks ass every year. Just be ******* serviceable, block the guy in front of you and protect the passer. How can we be this bad at OLine play this far into the system? Get the wrist bands off and tell them to block the first guy you see. Stop playing 5d chess when everyone else is playing checkers.

Nothing really changes. Still gotta win your games and beat K-State.

I think with these weaker B12 schedules we will get there. But it really does feel like we are going to bungle away our chance this year.
Rocco is the reason we are winning, he is also the reason games are close with so many bad plays.
